It would seem i have myself another sinus infection...so firmly on the couch at the moment & havnt been able to run since wednesday last week.the weather is lovely today & i would so love to be out there getting back to it!!!

I went out with the dog early doors and woah the pavements iced up! Sheesh!

My son has horrible sinus problems at the mo. I went to Boots the other day to get him a vapour lamp but they had none ! 🙄. It’s a vicks thing with vicks impregnated pads you put in
I have been doing steam inhilations with olbas oil for a week but unfortunately it didnt help...if anything it actually got worse...but my skin is glowing haha 😂🤣
Keep doing the steaming it really does work !

If you’ve got antiobiotics they'll soon shift it The inhalations you’d think would ease it.
Going out for a run in freezing weather will make your nose run like a tap 😁

Don't be downhearted. I sympathise with you having been out of action myself for almost 2 weeks. You'll soon be back fighting fit and graduating before you know it

I may give a different answer than others Claire, but it's my two pennies worth ! I find running really helps my sinuses !! It clears them.
Also I found that cutting out dairy has reduced the number of sinus infections now. Also steaming with hot water and some essential oils. Put your head over a bowl of hot water with a few drops of oil in, cover with a towel and inhale.

Running seems to have helped with alot of things...my back is so much better since i started running.i did the steam thing but it didnt seem to help but might try again once the antibiotics are done.my sister in law has just suggested cutting out dairy too so might have to consider it...thankyou 😊
Great Claire, worth a try. !! God running he helped you in so many ways. BTW for future I read antibiotics are not good for sinus problems as sinuses are viral infections and not bacterial, which is what antibiotics are for to kill bacteria. Just sharing knowledge that I learned and worked for me ! ☺️😊
The ones i had last time worked...the only problem is that all they do is clear up the infection but the stuff that causes all the trouble is still just sitting there & it may well have been left from the last time.so i need to try & clear my sinuses this time x
You are so spot on Claire !! Running improved my immune system no end. And I have blood tests to prove it. Running improves your overall immune system . And hey lots of frost a snow and cold weather kills viruses! Wrap up warm. Hope you feel better soon ! 😊
