Hi everyone,
I’ve been sick with a chest infection for over a week and I’m actually looking forward to getting back to it.
When I graduated C25K I didn’t know what to do next. I wanted to keep running every week and I didn’t think I would want to get to 10k.
So I did a few consolidation runs and found it a bit of a struggle and joined the Bridge to 10k forum for something to spur me on.
I went on holiday and managed to climb an immense hill on a very rough rocky track because my fitness had improved so much! I ran on the beach in the early morning too there and loved it.
And as soon as I got back I graduated 10k!
Sometimes plugging on is worth it for the unexpected surprises that come from it.
I am looking forward to the weekend and getting back to it with a 5k. I’ll get back to 10k when it feels right but a few 5k runs will do for now!
