So the great thaw arrived in Antarctica (aka Tyneside) and I was able to get out after work for my first post grad run. I think after such a good Week 9 Run 3 I set off a little to quickly and after about 12 minutes I was really struggling with a tight chest from my asthma. However as always I had my stubborn head on and carried on to do 5k in 36 minutes.
A slower overall pace than some of my previous runs but I take consolation from the fact that 36 minutes is the longest time I have managed to run so far.
Onwards and upwards, Whitley Bay park run up next on Saturday.
