POST GRAD FIRST RUN WAS NOT SCARY!!!!

Was a bit scared of this run but so happy after completing it. Didn’t go alone as had my faithful Laura in my ear and repeated W9R3 with an extra 10 minutes of running added on!!!! Yes 40 mins in total of actual running!!!! Pace??? 🐌 maybe but who cares!!! It’s the stamina and belief and the sheer confidence that I have built over this journey. Anyone just starting out BELIEVE in yourself. Follow the programme and have your ups and downs and ups again and you will do it. I didn’t believe I could at 64yrs young. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🤗🦋

Super result. Well done. Try Drill Sargent from Runkeeper. Gives you 5 minute alerts or distance alerts or both. Means you can keep going and know where you are up to 😊

This is so great and you are amazing. Congratulations.

If you don't mind saying, what scared you about the first graduate run?

Thanks sooo much. I think it was the elation of getting w9R3 done and then. “WHAT”!!!! Thought I would lack motivation and would struggle without the structure but realised I can repeat and still have the lovely Laura in my ear to spur me on. Hope your journey is good. 🏃‍♀️🤗🦋

Good for you, hon!! Watch out for big jumps in duration tho. Remember the 10% Rule. Don;t want you getting a niggle now, cos you're a runner and we want to keep you that way xx

How right you were!!!! Second post grad run was not great!! Went off too fast and only managed 20 mins non stop☹️ but am now just enjoying the getting out there and back on track.... Hope to try Park run on Saturday. Your support to everyone is 👍👍
