Ran 30 minutes and just over 5km earlier!! Had to go on a treadmill due to the weather and found the pacing of it really helped. Only thing i didnt have my headphones on so I dont know what Laura says at the end!

Well done. I am about to do my 3rd weekly run on the treadmill. Bit nervous never used one before I usually do 4 k in 30 mins being old and slow so am trying to work out what pace to set it. At least we are lucky having access to one in this weather!
Walk first to get used to it then maybe start running at 6.5 km/h or 7km/h . Once your used to it you can then speen it up. I found it really helpful with taking the first painful 10 minutes slowly

Well done π not yet tried treadmill but thinking it may be needed over the coming months!
I find my elliptical cross trainer very useful when the conditions are icy or there is heavy snow.. went out in the snow Friday.. but today's longer run seems unlikely. Currently snowing like mad and we have a whiteout!
( used mine after I broke my ribs too, to keep supple... no incline, no resistance:))
They do, for me provide an instant exercise facility.. and with a YouTube virtual run on , to ease the boredom..great fun!
