W2R1 - No stitch!

Managed to hobble my way onto the second week and have been taking people's advice about pacing myself. Indeed, no stitch for this run! Even though it was longer running time it didn't tire me out too much, definitely need to take my inhaler next time though! Anybody got any links for an armband that I could hold my phone in? Thanks

Well done 👍 I brought an arm band for phone but couldn’t keep it up without it being really tight. I have flabby upper arms though so it is probably just me! Brought a running belt which works a treat

Thanks, I'll look into both 😀

Try ebay for the armband thing. They are as cheap as chips. Make sure it'll fit your phone and try to find one that will fit your arm. I bought one which my phone fitted perfectly, but it cut the circulation off if I put it round my bicep.

Well done.

Good running form is about symmetry. Putting something on one arm creates assymetry.

Waist belts overcome that problem, but do not enable you to look at the display.

I have a waist belt, my wife has an armband. Neither of us would consider using the other's piece of kit.

Glad to hear you have overcome the stitch problem.

I started off with an armband, but once the weather heated up it really rubbed my arm so I now have a belt.
