Gosh, Wk7 was rocky. R1 felt ok. R2, I decided to go out early Sunday morning on a different route. Couldn’t find my pace, my legs were like lead and, to top it off, came down with severe stomach pain (dreaded runners trots) in the last 5 minutes and nowhere on my route was open for a toilet break as it was so early and I literally had to wait agonisingly for it to pass.
Then R3 saved the day. Only had toast and a yoghurt before going out, left it until 10.30am and settled into my happy pace quite quickly (hurray, it hadn’t run off without me!). Took it really steady and ran slightly more slowly, got to the end and had more in the tank so carried on through the warm down. Feeling more confident about weeks 8 and 9 now.
I can’t believe I’ve made it this far!!! 😁👍

Well done! I remember W7 as a struggle as well compared to week 6. Actually, I was surprised especially for W7R1 since it as a repeat of W6R3, but in the end, whenever you struggle, it means your body is getting ready to get onto the next level. Enjoy week 8 and graduation is coming soon!
