So not ran for 3 weeks due to snow/ice/late Home from work etc. Oh and teenagers needing lifts!! But went out tonight as need to get back on it. Little pootle round the village couple of miles and wow I smashed 1 min off my best time a few weeks ago! Just proves the legs remember. Oh and my Christmas list includes long runners socks and gloves.

Thanks Jan after the park run debacle I gave myself some time off then life has been manic these past few weeks but just because it’s cold I aren’t not carrying on our bodies are designed for all weathers

Well I haven’t got Park Runs sorted yet... so I understand where you’re coming from...

Many of my PBs have come after a break, as have some of my best runs.
It is good practice to have a weeks break every few months and you will come back refreshed.
