I actually think I'm getting my head around this running thing now, I know I can do it because I've done it, 20 mins on Fri meant when Laura said 5 8 5 today the thought was 'oh alright Laura, then I'll just get that done' and then just did :)

That's good to know, as I know there's been a few posts where people have found the W6R1 to be difficult, with having to stop to walk in between again. So I'm a little apprehensive about doing this one but looking forward to it as well, as ever :)

I agree with Ali you'll be fine Minuette, i found it ok to have the walk bits even though you know you could keep running it seems to refocus you on the business of building stamina and recovery, the nice change is finding you haven't said 'oh thank goodness for that' or praying for running bit to be over lol have fun tomorrow :)

As with most things, if the mind believes it can do something, the task is always so much easier. As someone who hated running or excess extortion for so long, the "thought" of running for longer periods every week makes me feel like I couldn't possibly manage it, but I have to give myself a mental slap on the knuckles when I'm halfway through a run and tell myself of course I can do it. Good running all ;)
