After all your help on my questions about the above I nipped into Sports Direct and picked up :

Hi Vis Vest

Flashing Armband

Running Tights with Hi Vis flashes

and then I was presented with by my OH

Gloves

Hat

both with hi vis flashes !

Liddl have some sports flashers at £2.50 they are two flashing thingies (one white/ one red beam) that you can attach to a rucksack or walking poles - could be attached to your laces or to an arm band.
