Did it. Not a runner, and was quite nervous . Got my expensive trail shoes on, and my shorts n shirt and went to the woods for the Park Run. It was great! Intimidating at first with lots of ‘proper’ runners knocking about, but everyone one their 1st run got a cheer and the marshalls/organisers were great. I plodded round, didn’t stop, and was happy to finish. Lovely atmosphere, I’ll be back next week
First park run :) : Did it. Not a runner, and... - Couch to 5K

glad you had fun. well done

Well done 😊 you must feel so good 😊

Well done

Not a great idea, if you are not a runner, and are only just starting on the C25K programme... hopefully you got away without any hidden problems
Doing a park run this quickly is not really a great idea...Are you following the C25K programme?
Looking at your previous two posts it's not exactly clear that you are following any c25k programme. Are you or are you just running? As you have had a shin splint scare maybe try the programme from here and don't be in such a hurry. Don't want to be mean but so far your posts seem to indicate a visit to the ic (injury couch) before too long - I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but why not try a more organised, methodical approach. If you really are just starting out its about being out there and doing it, not how far or how fast you go. Best wishes for getting where you want to be.
