Having graduated I thought I’d go for the Park Run. It’s not a race and I got my PB (Well you can’t fail to if it’s your first)
36mins and 32 seconds. I came 90th out of 99! However, couch to 5k has inspired me. Three years without exercise followed a C diagnosis. I’d gone from cycling mountains to stopping on staircase.
The Park Run volunteers were great a fantastic event and nothing to fear!!!

A nice time that for your first Park Run and you were not last, perhaps the next time you will get an even better time and come somewhere around being 50th.
Ahhhh - have you not yet found the glorious pain of a physio roller? 😁 Also I drink sooo much more water than I’ve ever done before. Grandad always swore by bananas, or tonic water for cramp (think I’d want a gin in with the tonic though 🤣)
