Week 2 done

So, week 2 is over! If you'd have asked me a month ago whether i could run for 90 seconds without slowing down I would have laughed. But I can and I can do it 6 times in half an hour too!

There was one terrifying moment on day 1 of this week when I realised that Michael was telling me it was time for my last 90 second run, about 15 seconds before I had a steep hill to climb! But 90 seconds later I was at the point the hill started to level off and I had run all but 4 paces of it!

Slightly dreading Monday and that first 3 minute run but onwards and upwards (although possibly not that hill again!).

Not dread... delight! You are doing well...keep it steady and slow and just watch how much stronger each run will make you. :) Well done!

Yeah I've seen that. I'm using the Strava app to record runs and have seen a segment drop from 2.33 on W1D2 to 1.32 today! A while minute quicker over around 0.2km so can see the improvement already!

I've just finished week 3. Every week I slightly wonder if i will manage the extended time next week, but so far i always have. It's an amazing program that sneakily gets you to the next level without you realising what's going on. Michael actually cheered me on my last run this week. What a boost to hear that smoky, sexy voice telling me well done!

Not sure I find him sexy, but always admired him as an athlete!
