Week 2 done

A confession. I cheated this evening. But in a good way (although I'm sure I'll get told off...)

I wrote a couple of days ago that I'd almost stopped early during day 2. Wasn't feeling it-long day at work, and what's 5 seconds. I'd persevered and got through.

Couple of days rest between 2 and 3 and off I trot this evening. First 90 seconds a loosened, second passes without difficulty as does number 3. I wonder..

During walk between 3 and 4 I realise I've accidentally paused the app. Turn it back on. Do I take the extra minute breather, or split the difference. 2 minutes later and I'm elated. Another landmark. Shall I? What would the running nazis say?

Run5 is the 90 seconds again. Oh what the hell. Run 6- in the groove and to the accompaniment of Sheer Mag, 2 minutes 30 is under the belt. I'm sorry Mr Johnson, but if I'm going to clock 3 minutes next week I want to be sure it's on. It is. Very much so.

Week 2 discoveries. I don't get out of breath after running the set periods. My body is used to settling into a groove. Music I know and love is a great distraction from my legs still getting into the habit.

It's bloody great this....

Some might tell you off, but not me. I often snuck in an extra little bit at the end of the early weeks so that the next week didn't seem too daunting. Well done - you're doing great - keep going!

The running nazis? Hmmmm

Hmmmmmm from here too Hidden . Unnecessary methinks.

We don't have C25K police or those nasty people either, so I think you're done with that run. You did a recalculation and worked through it. Techs problems can trip you up, but you handled it nice and cleanly! And if it's bloody great in W2, imagine your W9 feelings. Brilliantly done, Week 3 awaits - happy running
