Moved on to repeat week 4 this morning...after my epic & rather fabulous outing saturday morning for some reason i was hoping it might be something similar...nope!!!It was HARD!!!

That last 5 minutes nearly finished me off!!!

I reckon its because the sun isn't shining...I always get an extra boost of energy when the sun is shining 😊

Well done for getting out. It's pretty miserable out there! My run last night was beautiful. It was damn cold, but the sky was clear and I had a sky full of stars :)

The sun sure does help! Back in Scotland for me , and work. A run is a must tonight . Wk2 r2 . See how that goes . Good for you though .

I had a similar experience after a 10 day gap...the first run was a breeze, the next like wading through treacle. R1 of the next week, everything fine. Just keep going...

Ive had three runs like that. They demoralised me, but the support from the forum was excellent - and they were right, the following run each time was fine. With me, I think my mind gets in the way. Im about to do my last run of week 9 some time this week, and my stupid mind is already wobbling about it. Hey ho. Glad you are back into running x

Well done for making it to the end despite your struggle! That one is done: forget about it now and enjoy the next runs. Besides, if they were all fantastic, it would be no fun ;-) and that's why we can fly to the moon sometimes because we know how bad it can be!

I had a couple of runs in week 5 where I seemed to struggle more, felt I couldn’t breathe and had no energy think my issue was I was actually pacing too fast, pull back a little and don’t pressure yourself, I just told myself it’s not a race. If you run a mile in 4 mins or 14 mins you’ve still ran a mile, keep going xx
