Hello lovely runners,

I have been on a course all through today's gorgeous sunshine πŸ˜”so I was soooo pleased to get out there and run just before dark.

So... The four firsts ....

I ran over 4 km.

I ran on the beach (on the firm wet sand) - loved it!

Somebody else's dog try to round me up with much wagging and woofing !

I managed to blow my nose without stopping - for an uncoordinated person like me that no mean feat!!πŸ˜‚

Happy rest of weekend to you all. πŸ˜€

Yes thanks - it was over quarter of a Km more than the last time I checked & quite a surprise, must be getting slightly faster even though it doesn't feel like it! 😁

That looks a lovely place to run! Well done on the run and the multi-tasking nose-blowing too!

Very well done!!! Lovely photo!

Just make sure you stretch and roll after the beach runs....( the strain in the calf muscles even on the sand is quite intense) :)

Good advice thanks - stretching I do, but not sure what you mean by 'roll' - I am having comical visions of my calves & my rolling pin - hope that's wrong!!πŸ˜€

Rollers.. tee hee.. all shapes and sizes! I have a roller a foam one and a massage stick.. which is what I use for my calf muscles ..

Yes, I was really pleased - & relieved that the dog wasn't a heel nipper because he was very persistent in trying to unite me with his owner- a complete stranger! πŸ˜‚

Oh I'm sooooooo jealous - what a view! I would LOVE to run along there....If only...... but I'm mainly jealous of the nose blowing whilst running! I still keel over and some days it's constant! :) Well done sounds like you are doing a fab job! :)

Thank you, it's all so astonishing- if anyone had told me I would be able to run, I would have laughed and KNOWN they were wrong!

As for the multi tasking nose blowing - it made my pace hilariously erratic - glad it was nearly dark by then & no- one could see this madwoman galumphing & meandering on the beach brandishing tissues! πŸ˜‚

Welcome to the group (mine!) of runners with runny noses ;-) Since I started the programme, I've become an expert at expiring and blowing my nose to be able to take a deep breath afterwards to keep on running without slowing down. What a great scenery for a run!

Keep on enjoying yourself!
