Just back in from a great run....this feeling is why I stick at it!! It wasn't my fastest or longest but was great all the same.
This morning I ran with a friend. I was slightly nervous...would she think I'm too slow etc etc. That was my first first, the second running without any music (weird) and third being able to talk as well as run. OK on some occassions I did only give one worded answers lol.
It was different route today (involved getting in the car to drive there) but was lovely...country lanes, lovely houses to look at field, fields to run around...maybe this is what has given me my boost. Or was it the massive very long hill at the end that Tosie had forgotten to mention until I saw it that has got all that blood pumping and endorphins running through my body
Timings for today were 4.83k in 39mins 48 secs. Will get all geeky later and look at the splits.
OK...on to next challenge of the day...shopping with my 2 13 year old nieces.

Was very different and great to have someone encouraging you.
It has given me the confidence to make contact with the local running club...going to email them to see if I'd be OK in their begginer group...watch this space (If I say it outloud I have to do it...this counts as outloud!)
That's great my sister wants to run with me, but I'm nervous about going as she's been running for longer than me and I afraid I'll be really slow compared to her so I've been putting it off!
Very impressed that you're making contact with the local running group!!
