Morning...or should I say good afternoon my lovely running fam...I know, I know, I’ve been a bit quiet on here of late...but I’m missing you all so here I am...just because I haven’t been on here doesn’t mean I haven’t been out there doing my thing coz I av!!! Monday morning’s run was by the canal it was dead cold, my breath in the air looked like a steam locomotive was travelling along side the water, I think I scared the ducks as I approached!! It was peaceful too, except for my teeth chattering, until I remembered I’d tucked a buff (thankyou Oldfloss for the heads up on those!!!) in my pocket, When I slipped it on I felt like Dick Turpin...but it made such a difference!!! I was just going to go for a quick 20 min run but I ended up running for around 37 mins...ran into my thoughts again didn’t I & got a little bit carried away...
I’ve just got back from my sunny run this morning, well, lunchtime run really as I saw Daddycavs van outside my house so knew he’d come home for dinner so ran another 3/4 lap round the park & called it a draw...I was enjoying myself too though & managed to cover 3.7kms in 27 mins 😊..today I was running for IgaT whose mojo is yearning for an early Christmas break, huh, not on my watch!!!.....I will be on your shoulder this evening for your scheduled run as I’m sure a few others will be too, willing you along...karate-chopping those gremlins as we whizz past them 🕴🏻🏃🏼♀️💪🏻😉

You deserve some sunny runs Mummycav and I’m right with you IgaT gremlins are toast. 6pm tonight they get seriously buttkicked by the C25K posse. Lovely to read of your runs can I name my next playlist after you please?

Crying in a ‘feeling loved’ way...and also the ‘friends I may never meet’ 🙁 line...I wish we could all do a kind of ‘band aid’ ....we could call it ‘legs aid’ ....run for charity, somewhere most of us could get to...how fab would that be?!! But not so fab for our friends outside of the UK....xx
I nearly ended up taking this photo sideways as just as I’d taken it two German shepherd dogs came hurtling up behind me, so I obviously didn’t see them & they took my legs from under me...I was growling at their owners for a few minutes afterwards....bloody dogs!
My furry friend today is all over the place - no idea what's happening. She caused me a not so shallow cut on my finger, as I was stopping her from another dog. I had gloves (with open fingers), so my hand splippd on the lead stopper, thus I grabbed with another hand leash - my mistake. But why she wanted attack the other dog - no idea.
Not the best day for four paws friends. Now waiting for bleeding to stop fully and going into the dark to run.
Looks like a beautiful day. So glad you are getting out and enjoying your running after such a sad time of late. Keep smiling and inspiring others to continue running 😀

I’m so glad you are because when you enjoy something so much you just want others to share it with you & enjoy the same feeling...that’s why I love this forum, we’re all doing something we love & share a mutual respect for each other and we are genuinely interested in each others journeys...love it x

Can’t help it!! I was soooooo tempted this morning to commit the ultimate sin & run On a rest day but I am not going to put myself on the IC...I have my poppy run to do on Sunday xx
