So still buzzing off my graduation run on Sunday I did something today that’s been a goal since starting this; go running with someone
So.......
Every run I’ve done I’ve come back and messaged this person with how buzzing I am and she’s been so supportive of me through my c25k journey so I coyly asked if I could try running with her!
And.......
Today I ran 5k(!!!!!) in 43 mins!
I’m fricking buzzing!!! I’ve only ever done 30 mins
Runs but I was enjoying it so much I said let’s try for the 5k and I did it!! I ran 5k!!
I literally have to pinch myself to believe it
I struggled with w1r1, mentally blocked out of w5r3 and lost my mojo on w6r3
And here I am casually going for a 5k run after work with a mate.
If I can do it..... you can do it too!!!

Yes absolutely - I’m aiming to just keep to 30 min runs and build on that but was just enjoying it so thought I may as well! I still could keep up a conversation and had some left in me at the end
100% spot on. Reall chuffed for you. I've just started week 2 and can imagine just how good you feel because at this moment for me, it looks impossible
Amazing news!! I managed 5k today too!! Such a sense of achievement!! Awesome!! Glad your first consolidation run was such a success, I'm hoping I have them same buzz!!
