Well after hating run 3 of week 5 and not getting the feeling of achievement I was hoping for it was with a little trepidation that I set out for the first run of week 6 tonight. I decided to run as slowly as I possibly could ( as per the advice on here) and I found the run pretty easy! So I think maybe I just went a bit quick last week without realising it, bit overexcited maybe ๐ค so Iโm hoping Iโll get that real sense of achievement after the third run of this week instead ๐ค

Amazing ๐ well done - slow slow slow all the way works ....... she says ๐ letโs hope Iโll still be saying that when I get to W6 R1 ๐

Well done, you're well on the way now. Yes, I think that at this stage in the programme there can be a tendency to speed up without realising it. I'm sure you've found a comfortable pace now so that's great.

Well done Working. I did mine tonight too and enjoyed it ...tho got to say its windy ! Glad you got through it...you can always repeat the 20 min run and see how you feel?

Well done, I did mine yesterday too. It was windy and I felt a bit bloated and looking at 25min run at the end of the week ๐ฅบ

Iโve completed W6R1 a couple of days ago and was the opposite to you. W5R3 went pretty easy for me at a decent pace but W6R1 very nearly broke me. The important thing is getting through it, and I did but I felt awful. Still, out of all the runs so far thatโs only two that I have felt that rubbish on so itโs not worth dwelling on the negatives. W6R2 tonight so bring it on!!! ๐ช๐ฝ
