Week 6 starts tomorrow..

Hi everyone, I’m new here 😀 but the posts have all been super helpful I’ve been reading for a couple of weeks. So I completed my first 20 mins straight on run 3 of week 5 and got on surprisingly well so I’m hoping for good things from week 6! Although I’ve read some posts saying it can be a struggle even after completing a full 20 mins..

Wish me luck 😄

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran

I finished week 6 yesterday and it was fine. You'll smash it! 😀

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Just stay nice and slow.

Enjoy your journey.

Thanks for everyone’s replies! I’ve just finished and I managed just fine. I injured my hip at the end of January and it was niggling a bit this morning but the run went good, I actually feel like it would have been better with less walking breaks. So on to run 2 for me. Good luck to everyone completing runs this week! 😀 x

I'm so pleased to hear it went ok, I've read all the comments too about wk 6 run 1 feeling a bit strange. I'm heading out on it tomorrow, so I should be prepared :)
