Hello my lovely running family...

Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet today, as some of you know, my friend Helen went into a hospice last weekend, she is now unconscious & not expected to wake up again...I have been caring for her two little boys (age 3 & 7 😰) when I can...but I just wanted to show you yesterday’s run...ok, it was a run with some walking thrown in here & there & a little bit scatty at the beginning until I warmed up...but the last 30 mins I had to have my Mr Smooth, so I kind of guessed when I was 30 mins away from home & played week 9 run 1, it was quite comforting & calming to hear his voice...but...when I looked at the time I turned everything off as I thought I’d be embarrassed at it taking me over an hour!!! But, I keep looking at it & you know what? I’m quite proud of myself...

Live everyday to the fullest...love your family & friends & give them all an extra tight hug tonight...do it, for me xxx

Oh dear, life can be hard sometimes. So sorry about Helen, how very sad that she won't be around for her boys.

Heartbreaking for you, and I hope that taking a bit of time in the fresh air to exercise has done you good.

I thought I had seen a 7k run on Mapmyrun and understand now that its not the most important thing going on in your life at present.

You are being a lovely, caring friend to Helen and I'm sending you a hug too.xx
