Elated! Suck it 20 minute run!

Yes!! Still smiling as I write this post! Got in from my 20 minute run just a couple of minutes ago (20 minutes!), and it went so well!

Bit emotional in the house before I left (family rubbish) so I had a lot of energy that I wanted to get out - I suppose it kinda worked to my advantage! Started of a bit bad as I had a stitch in my warm up walk, not a great start but it soon went and once I started running I found my pace which was great.

It went a lot quicker than I thought it would as well, probably because my mind was elsewhere, but again, worked to my advantage. Just looked at endomondo and it turns out I ran 2.84km in 20 mins, which is not bad and looks like if I run a little faster I could reach 5km in my graduation run!

If I'm honest I'm still in a little bit of shock that I've actually stuck with this plan long enough to be sitting here writing this blog today... 20 mins! 20 mins! It's crazy!

Thank you, all of you, for your AMAZING support over the last 5 weeks and I honestly don't think I would have made it this far if it wasn't for this forum.

So to all the graduates thank you for your continued support and inspiration and I wish you all the best post c25k!

(And to all the little guys still on their c25k journeys, DON'T GIVE UP. I am the laziest person I know and for me to get this far is pretty much a miracle)

Happy running!

Well done you! This is the point when you know that running for 30 mins is actually achievable and it becomes more real.

Have a happy Easter and enjoy feeling smug that you are a runner and not lazy at all! ;)
