Better late than never !!

Well work commitments put me back a couple of days but I've just completed week three - really wanted to double up on a run to catch myself up but everyone says take your rest day ( is it that bad to do two on the trot ) not saying I could yet but I was disappointed to miss a night. It's been a hard week and I've noticed I'm not doing the same distance as weeks one and two ' is that right ?? ' running in the cold is hell to breath in really messes me up I managed wind and rain better. Kind of looking forward to week 4 run 1 on Wednesday - thanks all for the encouraging words.

I think you are more likely to sustain an injury if you run two days on the trot, at this early stage in your running "career". Muscles need time to repair. Be patient. You don't have to complete the programme in 9 weeks! And, distance is not the goal of C25K. The goal is to run for specified lengths of time – this way you build stamina, safely. As for cold, maybe invest in a running scarf? (A "buff") You can pull this up over your mouth, which really helps with the ole cold air breathing thing!

Good luck with week 4! You are doing so well, just take it slow and steady and patiently!
