Better late than never...!

I’ve just done my last run in week 6 today.... OMG I was so close to giving up at 8 mins then at 12 mins my jordie coach told me I was nearly half way.....and then the blizzard came! However I managed to complete the 25 mins but ended up like a snowman. Week 7 is 3 x 25 runs; not sure how I’m gonna do it 😣. Still getting really painful legs during my run; thinking I’m too heavy footed and need to change my style?

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6 in the snow and ending up like a snowman, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, well done, I just missed looking like a snowman today when I was running run 3 of week 2 of Ju Ju's Magic 10, the snow and hail began not long after I got home, pity, lol. 😂

Well done! You kept going and smashed it! That’s great 😀

I have occasionally had painful legs when running, stretching has really helped. But also perhaps consider if it might be your shoes... I have 3 different shoes for running and one pair seems to have caused problems with leg shin pain.

Yeah I’ll try my other pair this week and if manage my runs I may treat myself to a new pair! The pain is only when I run; not afterwards or between runs; I’m stretching and also do Pilates once a week too.

This has lots of good information about running posture. It's quite a lot to take in all at once though. Try to keep your feet underneath your body and take small strides. Land mid foot, roll through and push off from the ball of your foot.

Good luck.

Well done you for not giving up. I'm running W6R3 on Friday after work and keeping my fingers crossed that Storm Dennis keeps away xx

Good luck you can do it. It’s not an easy run but I kept telling myself that I couldn’t give up now as I’d come too far; you’ll be fine; keep determined and you’ll feel amazing at the end x

Congrats Juicylucy81 you did it, snow and all. Try stretching before and after your runs, it works for me. I am on W5R2 hope I can keep it up 💪
