After really struggling with each run in week 8 I was feeling quite nervy about this week. However, by deliberately pacing myself slower than for my week 8 runs this one went really smoothly, I was even able to up my pace at the end for my version of a sprint finish. (Still slow, but faster than usual.) So I now look forward to gradually upping the pace over teh next two runs with graduation in sight. Sadly 5k is still some way off but if I can do 30 minutes I'm sure I can get to the 35/40 minutes I'll need for that in time.

Well done.

Pacing is just about the most difficult aspect of running for nearly all runners and developing an awareness at an early stage will hold you in good stead for the future.

Enjoy the home straight.

30 minutes from 0 minutes? It's got to make you smile :)

5k can come later (and it will you know)
