This morning I gave myself a good talking to and went for the run. I'd had two rest days, set my alarm, laid my clothes out and everything but refused to budge from my bed. In the end it was the thought that I'd have to get up early tomorrow that roused me.
This run was 25 minutes non stop. The calf ache started 15 minutes in. There was only one thing for it. I had to keep going or I'd be late to work. Yay victory. My run ended on a high, literally. For the last minute I ran up the footbridge over the dual carriageway. A great view and a fab end to the run.

Well done you! I did that run this morning too! The first two minutes were difficult but then I got into my stride and it felt great. I ran a bit faster for the last minute!
