Wk5 R3 - I did it!!!!

This is my first post on here (but have taken inspiration from others) but I just felt I had to share the fact that I did it!!! 20 mins without stopping, who'd have thought it?! Certainly not me!

I am an overweight, unfit 42 year old, who hasn't run since school. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't easy, but I made it to the end (albeit very slowly...) I'd had a horrible run last time out, but this was so much better, I think I cope better mentally without the breaks as I didn't have to psych myself up to get going again.

To all of you dreading this run, as I did, just take it steady and you will surprise yourself. I still haven't come down from my little running cloud 😉🏃 Bring on Wk6!!

    I was just looking at that run thinking to myself that I have that run to do on Monday. The usual thoughts.... can I do it? 20 mins is more than double what I did today.... etc etc.

    But I'm going to take inspiration from your post.

    I'll give it my best shot.
