Hi everyone, I'm excited to discover a Couch to 5K community. I've just completed week 3 but I confess it has taken me a bit longer than 3 weeks! I'm looking forward to starting week four tomorrow as I will be nearly half way. I live in the north west and I have two dogs.
Hello runners! : Hi everyone, I'm excited to... - Couch to 5K
Hello runners!
Hi Dw, you are doing amazingly well, keep posting as you progress, it takes most people more than 9 weeks. π
Hello there. Congratulations on starting this fab programme π Slow, and steady is the way to go. No need for speed just take it slowly and you'll get round
Have fun! π
Welcome. Keep plodding away at it, you'll be running for 30 minutes before you know it. The forum is a great place for inspiration and support πππββοΈ
Hi there Iβm in wk 5 run 1 and yes it IS hard but each run is a step nearer to our goal! I also live in the NW and have one dog π I have repeated the odd run too as well as having10 days off following an op. I believe in doing it at your own pace and what you feel most comfortable doing. Well done for sticking with it!
Well done you! Im a wee bit behind you at week 3 run 2 due today but as it second time round im going to be sensible & do it in my time as well as was shocked how unfit i had gotten but i can assure you this program works and the encouragement from everyone on the forum really helps ! Heres to us graduating ππππ
3 weeks or 3 months matters not one bit. Its all done at your own pace.
Pop in here regularly for great encouragement and also the things you have experienced will also be a great encouragement to those coming up behind you.
Welcome
It is not a race, but committing the time is worthwhile to maintain progress.
Only repeat runs if you do not complete them and then when complete, move on.......again maintaining momentum.
Good luck with Week 4
I live in the South West and have no dogs.
Take your time on your runs and on the programme. Far better to do that and succeed and rush like the proverbial hare and not get there...
Happy running
Thanks for your encouragement! I feel doubly committed to finishing the 9 weeks now!
