Hi all, so after feeling nervous about starting week 3, thanks to Nina Simone's Sinnerman, I did that second 3 minute run, but boy it was not easy.
It was the first time I've really struggled, enough to put me off the next run. I know since I did it once, I can do it again but I'm feeling a little disheartened. Anyone else feel this way?

I felt exactly the same and tomorrow I'm doing W4 R1 I don't know when it gets easier if it does at all but I do know I'm actually looking forward to the challenge 😊
Thank you! There's lots of posts about how easy people found week 3 but not many about finding it difficult. Glad I'm not alone. Look forward to hearing how week 4 goes for you!
Hey depending on where you start from Week 3 is a tough one, you double up the interval length. When I did it I felt that it was the first time I had done a 'proper' run... so it is a milestone in its own right. But you know, you did it... you didn't walk it. So give the next one a go, what's the worst that can happen? Maybe you don't do it, but then again perhaps you will...
If you don't try you'll never know. Good luck and happy running next time....
Ohhhh...loads of times...but don’t be, if you feel like you need to repeat any run that’s ok, but you did it so I’d move on to the next run...if it was easy we wouldn’t be working our bodies...see how you get on next run & let us know, we’ve all been where you are so we completely understand how you feel...it might also help if you read back on some of the posts from graduates & you’ll see you’re not the only one....keep running & keep posting
hi, I found week 3 especially tough! Three minutes continuous made me swear at the app... but the fact I actually managed it, as did you, made me post my first post here. Keep going, you are doing great.
It is hard first time round but look on various websites for. Tips. Like stretching, running style etc. I found this all very helpful. Plus do wk 3 again next week. Which will build up your stamina. And get you used to running for a longer time. If your listening to music put it on shuffle so you don't know what's coming that also helps. Keep it up as you'll be surprised when you next step up of how much you've achieved.
