I was so nervous at doing this week. I new I would have to run for 3 minutes non stop and I thought this was impossible. I have to confess I eat to bars of chocolate while sat in the car near the canal path where i’ve been running. Chocolate is my go to when i’m in need of comfort.
Any way I got out the car and I did it and much to my surprise it was ok, in fact it was more than ok. I’m sat back in car having finished my run feeling fantastic.

Congratulations, you can eat chocolate only AFTER you run, not before, well done on completing run 1 of week 2, trust the program, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 3. 😊 🏃 You will feel fantastic again after you complete that run. 🏃
It’s a great feeling isn’t it?? W3 gets a lot of bad press and I felt nervous too, but it was actually ok! Am going to try and ignore the scary bits moving forwards and just get on with the half hour ahead of me....😁
Strange that week 3 gets a lot of bad press, when I did C25K the first time I wasn't to concerned about that week, also, it's the week that people who have not ran for a while tend to restart if they have been off running for more than two months. 😊 🏃
I think I was convinced up until w6 that I was going to struggle with nearly every run. Doing w5r3 gave me a lot of confidence and once I did w6r3 I was finally fairly confident that I could finish. The programme is well designed to guide us through and get us there if we just go slow and steady. I know it's easier said now I am on the other side but I think many people read ahead and worry, then go out and do it. Trust in yourself, trust in the programme.
I've just done w3r1 this morning. Was a bit daunting the thought of jogging for 3 min but it wasn't that bad! Feel all refreshed now for the day ahead.
