Itching to run W3R2

Usually run Mon, Wed and Fri morning before work but could wait to try run 3 again so went out at 6.45 this morning. Is this really me? Up and running on a Sunday before a day of rugby and netball with my teenagers? Well, the beginning was a bit tougher than Friday for some reason. Think I was more self conscious running in the light. Once I got the first run over I was into the swing of it and MJ helped me long the way. It was a comfortable run and I think I can say I enjoyed it! I'm a happy bunny. Run 3 set for Tuesday morning. Can't wait. Have a great Sunday everyone πŸ˜€

Thank you Oldfloss. Really starting to enjoy getting out and running. I really want to be able to run for 30 minutes. It has always seemed so unachievable before but I'm seeing how it works by building each week πŸ‘

Oh you have the bug!!

I have found the self consciousness eases with time. I have not got over mine yet but it has improved.

Sounds like a great run!

I think it will be along time before I'm happy running with others. My friend mentioned joining a running club for beginners but that is my worst nightmare 😩

Brilliant-well done😬 I have been running for a few weeks now and I think it's like a drug which makes you feel so much better. Enjoy!

The same thing happened to me, creeps up on you then suddenly you're head over heels infatuated! Welcome to the gang of early bird runners, it's calm and quiet and highly addictive! Good luck with your journey :)

Thank you. I can't quite believe I'm doing it. Not sure how the longer runs will pan out but I'm giving it my best shot and enjoying it so far 😊

You will do great :) just like all of us who were dubious and unsure. I was massively unfit and did no exercise. We all have our own journey but the fact that you are hooked and rearranging your life to fit it in, will stand you in good stead. The rest will come on its own :)
