I have just completed week 3 run 3. After struggling with sore knees last week and getting insoles to help overpronation, I found runs 1 and 2 this week much easier but today I really struggled and was physically sick at the end (sorry if too graphic!) Any ideas? Could it be I am not eating enough? (Dieting too)
I am wondering whether I should repeat run 3 on Sunday (although I did finish it) rather than move on to week 4......

Were you running first thing in the morning? Did you eat or drink beforehand?
For me, seems to be best to not eat at all, and just a swig or two of water before going out for the run. Proper breakfast when back so I don't feel wobbly later.
Always eat a little something before you go, have a banana they're great for it, it will help you to keep your blood sugars up and will prevent you being sick and feeling faint/flaky afterwards.
Thanks - will try the banana before I go - I had a cup of coffee just before which definitely didn't help! Don't think I ate enough yesterday either. Can't imagine how I am going to cope with week 4 though having found it so hard today!
There seems to be different views on whether you should eat something or not,but I just have half a banana and water.I. Have tried not having anything.Doesnt seem to make much difference as I nearly always feel sick after and can't eat for an hour after.A lot of people say they eat more when running but it's had the opposite effect on me.I am certainly eating healthier..H ope you get it sorted and good luck with diet x
Thanks everyone and thanks especially to my lovely friend and fellow c25k running buddy who despite coping much better than me stopped me giving up and encouraged me! Did week 4 run 1 today (after water and a banana) and it was ok! Thought I might die halfway through final run but finished it and felt elated!
