Bpm music checker

I found this useful so I thought I would share it. It helped me put together a 150 BPM playlist that I could run to comfortably. Here is the link:

Its a bit manual, but if you've ever wondered how to quickly check the beats per minute in your running playlist this tool works with your tapping input. You just need to have the song playing and tap the keyboard along to the music.

What? What? Am I missing something?

Lol. No its only for weirdos like me who sometimes like to run to a certain speed of music 😜 140-150 beats per minute is what I like right now for a good pace without wearing me out by the end. Ie "500 miles" by the Proclaimers is around 135 bpm. Its all very approximate too. Ive seen people post about it before but I've not seen this particular tool before.

I'm with you there, I love a constant speed beat to run along to! Thanks for the tip :-)

That's very cool. You can also cheat and look some up on jog.fm (eg. 140bpm - jog.fm/workout-songs/at/140...

That very cool too! Probably the only place you'll see Haircut 100 and Metallica on the same list :) I like that you can search for pace lists too.

Decker, you don't seem to have added a link, so I assume your title is the app name.

This one abyssmedia.com/bpmcounter/ does the counting for you and works through a music folder sorting you music........no tapping required.

I came across the abyssmedia app too, but could not install it on my Mac as I think it is only PC friendly

Also, I’ve got used to podrunner and using this to plan for a 10k then half marathon. You can also search for mixes with a certain bpm. I’ll probably adjust as I go along but I’ve found it useful!
