I seem to run better with a couple of songs on my playlist because their BPM is just right for me. Does anyone know of an app that will convert MP3s to a specific BPM? Thanks!

BPM Converter App?
🍏 Pugwash There are several I think…
TrailMix: This app adjusts the tempo of your music in real-time to match your running cadence. It works with MP3s and other audio formats, allowing for seamless BPM adjustment without distorting the sound. Available for iOS, it has a free version with a Pro upgrade option for additional features
Many thanks for your reply. I'm on Android and searching for TrailMix just brings up a game with the same name so I'm wondering if it is available, but I'll continue to search.
🍏 Sadly is currently available only on iOS. An Android version has been mentioned as “in development,” but it has not yet been released as of now. This means you cannot currently download TrailMix for Android in the UK
Thanks for the clarification Annieapple 🙂.
🍏If you’d like alternatives, there are other apps like “RockMyRun” and “Weav Run” that offer similar functionality for Android … had a little Google… but don’t don’t know much about them
Luckily Annieapple has answered your actual question but I just wanted to add that I’ve found Spotify has helped me create and use others playlists by searching for particular bpm songs etc. Worth a try?
Thanks for replying Kevin - much appreciated. Unfortunately for me, I stopped using Spotify a few years ago, but I feel sure there's something out there so the search continues.
As another suggestion, I found a metronome an interesting tool on the one time I tried it. I do not like the tunes on the C25k mp3s I use but as they are the way to get Laura's instructions I endure them. Now I'm into the last couple of weeks the timings and commentary are not really so important to me so I start with the mp3 and once I'm running I slip my headphones onto my neck and pick them up towards the end. I tried a metronome for one of my runs on the end straight where I know I am flagging. I expect I'll try it again when I am running without Laura but ultimatley I'd prefer just running without headphones appreciating the outdoors.
Thanks moopo . I run to my own playlist nowadays. Like you, I endured rather than enjoyed the set C25K music because the option to swap out for your own music, which I believe you can now do, wasn't available when I was formally following the programme. Hopefully you'll graduate in a couple more weeks and I wish you every success with that. It was literally life-changing for me!
