You don't fool me. You're going to do 5k in 30 minutes. I've seen your times, speedy gonzales rose.

Me too! A bit nervous but have had a go at running 5k a couple of times since graduating two weeks ago and managed it (just). Usually run along local cycle track about 6.30am so will be a bit different having witnesses to my puffing and panting. Good luck!!

I haven't ran with anyone yet, quite nervous myself, good luck with yours.

I've been looking at park runs too, but kind of with one eye shut! I start W8 on Monday so I'm tentatively planning what to do post C25K. Enjoy!!! Then report back and tell us all about it!

Ooo oooo ooo I’m excited for you!!! You might surprise yourself you know!! When I did my first one I stayed at the back...but I felt intimidated by the gazelles...don’t you feel like that...you just run your own run, everybody is there doing their own thing...so you just do your own thing & enjoy it..it doesn’t matter what position you come or what your time is, it’s the experience you’ll enjoy...have a good time...you certainly won’t be last

So how was it? I bumped into a friend who didn't know I was doing C25K so we ran together. Great atmosphere especially over the finish line. Chuffed to overtake some people, in awe of the triathletes whizzing past. Bit of a sore foot now but pleased with 38 minutes non stop.

Good luck! I am off on my first park run this morning and feeling nervous. I am on week 9 run 2, so should be able to run most of it.

Exciting times ahead and I am sure you will smash it.
