Cold, miserable, 0 c , Drizzling, first park run, wasn't sure I wanted to do it, but I thought if I don't, I'll regret it. Really enjoyed it, everyone so supportive, great atmosphere, and a time of 41.34, which I'm happy with for a first time!πŸ€—

Fantastic and very well done . Now you have a PB time to come back and beat next week.

I did my 26th Parkrun this morning. My first of 2019 and I loved it.

Definitely, thank you

I did my first parkrun this morning as well. We have proved that we can still enjoy running in the cold and rain - for me that is a significant shift in my thinking!

When I used to run (55 + years ago) rain was my favourite time for running, naturally cooling, fresh, but now wearing glasses, getting wet, steaming up etc., is a nightmare , but some one suggested a peak cap, so I got just a peak with a sweat band and it seems to do the trick! And yes great to be outside, whatever the weather (except deep snow and Ice). Thank you

I’d love to try a park run once I graduate but for some reason they don’t have one local to me πŸ˜”

Have you looked on the park run site, they seem to be all over the country, mine was 15 miles away and there are at least three more within10-20 miles of me, definitely worth the effort and I live in a Village.

I’ll definitely take another look on the site, thank you 😊

Fantastic πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ and as you say a brilliant time for your age let alone the weather. I'll be happy if I can just run/jog 5k... no matter what time. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸƒπŸ»πŸƒπŸ»πŸƒπŸ»πŸƒπŸ»

Thank you. Just looked at your profile, well done for starting the C25K, you'll get there I'm sure, you are obviously fit, golfing. It took me 27 weeks! injuries (nothing serious!) etc., to graduate. Just follow the advice on here, nice and slow is the motto. I will look forward to your Graduation. πŸ€—
