Crap week ahead - running wise

In Costa Rica for work. Technically the hotel has a gym but the running machine (1) is practically in a cupboard and ancient. Not practical to run on the roads and likely to be getting cabs everywhere. Going to have to force myself into the cupboard once the jet lag wears off. Not boding well.

Get yourself some decent tunes on your phone to listen to. I found running in Thailand held me energise myself when the jet lag was trying to tire me out.

Put the music on.. close your eyes and run.. imagine the most idyllic running route and just go with it:)

Positivity is the word:)

I do admire you! Hills, rain, treadmills in a cupboard. You seem like a wonderfully determined person. How about downloading a film, or TV programme to watch. That'd take your mind off the cupboard. Good luck!

Will try tonight and report back!

Imagine the cupboard is giving you Harry Potter powers, and expel the doubts, you have grit and legs... go you

Well a) I went to the cupboard taking iPad with me. B) ran 3.5k in 22 mins.

Kind of pleased I went but as it was my first time on a treadmill not sure what to set

the speed at. Next time will watch a 30 mins programme!

Still in Costa Rica. Went for a run behind the hotel as didn't want to go to the cupboard again. Terrible potholed pavements so rubbish speed but did 4K. Saw some MASSIVE spiders.
