Re-running the week?

I had started W3 about 5 days ago,but never got round to the second run. I was ill the day before I was meant to go and didn't feel up to it the next day, so I didn't go,and was planning on doing the run the next day. But now I've developed laryngitis and probably won't be running for another 2-3 days....which will mean I haven't run for over a week :( Should I re-run week 3 when I start again? Or do a day or two of week 2 to get back into the swing of things? Thanks

I think it all depends how easy or tough you were finding the runs, if you were struggling then maybe do a couple of week 2 runs, if you were doing ok then I would just pick up where you left off.

W3R1 was fine, I just don't want to go out for a run and not be able to finish it

Honestly I would just pick up where you were, if you fail then look on it as a practice, I failed on a week 6 run.

Normally it takes about a fortnight of not running before you begin to notice any loss of condition.

You will probably be fine picking up where you left off and if you did not complete the run, after such a short layoff, it would mean you have found the level that you need to work at, it certainly would not be a failure.

Get fully well before heading out again.

Make sure you are full well and then head out from where you were, but really slow and steady :) Your body will soon let you know how it is feeling :)
