Run 2 week 9 the end in sight.... hecklers!!

Feeling pretty chuffed today as managed to do penultimate run. Had scheduled to finish yesterday but return to school mayhem (and general inertia) set me back. Anyhow I crawled around the circuit for 30 mins sometimes feeling like I was running on the spot!! One thing is not sure what to do with hecklers. Last week I had builders shouting "go faster" and today I had "you're mad". Need to think of a suitable put down!!

  • Well done. Enjoy your graduation run. Completely ignore the hecklers. Remember, empty vessels make the most noise. Idiots will always be idiots.

  • Just smile 😃😃😃😃😃

You are a runnner, the hecklers are not. Well done you 🏃🏻🏃🏼‍♀️👍🏼

  • No you don't! Not at all. Ignore stupid folk and just keep going

  • Say the heckles in your head then that way you get to laugh and they have no idea... and here's some for free to try-

Being mad is my choice, what's your excuse for being stupid

On the 'go faster' quip - my mum always taught me to slow down to look at zoo exhibits...

Don't rise to the bait... they probably go home and actually say they were impressed by seeing you run.

One to go to bling day. Brilliant

  • Ha ha, i like those ...to be honest once i'm lycra'd up i'm past caring!! I did repeat Sarah Millican saying "it's not the speed it's the endurance" to myself after the builders. I shall retain a dignified silence🏆
