My run today was similar to week 8 with a few minutes more. I took the easier option of not running back up to the bridge from road level. I was feeling lazy 😁.
Still more complex than my original route which was down, up and down the flat main road = 30 mins. Also 3 times the amount of nettle stings rather than two. Going up and over the bridge was something I never thought possible.
As this is my penultimate run I thought I would treat myself to only one steep ish slope today and save the 2 slopes for my final run.
This meant when I turned out of the little estate I turn right and right again which are straight roads and lead me back straight on to the bridge.
It is left which is not only a longer route but also leads down to road level so a slope is required to bring someone to bridge level.
If I do it too early I have nothing to work up to and I am sure we all want the final run to have a little extra, or is that just me, so I will save that for Saturday or Sunday.

It wasn't intentional 😁. Excellent news on the treadmill. I tried running on one when I had a free tester gym day but I just couldn't get on with it. I think it is a skill in itself. I like being outside though for walks or runs. I often used to have an OS map in my hand before I got sick.
Well done, you’ve cracked it, you’ll soon get yr badge and start consolidating all you’ve done.
Thank you but please do not mistake a hill for a mild gradient steep ish slope. It's about 20 feet so you do feel it but it's a long slope so takes the sting out of it. Most of the route is flat but 2 routes back one is flat and you can just run straight across the bridge and on the second the road slopes down to road level so to get back up you've guessed it a similar slope to get up to the bridge but once over there is a nice run down the other side. As a former keen rambler definitely not a hill 😁.
I used to lead a walk and ends with a killer hill and doing it backwards so going down first can be very treacherous to give you an idea of how steep it is. That's a hill 😀
