Pins and needles

Finally finished week 4 after having a week break. Got some new trainers and my gait read which has made a difference. One thing I have noticed is pins and needles in my feet. This is not new as had them with my old trainers. I am running through them right now why do I get them? I'm sure my trainers are not too tight. Any ideas?

You can slack the laces off and then draw them up not too tightly. Very often tight laces is the cause

Sounds daft but as you start to run with the programme, and work your way through the sessions, your body does start to sit up and take notice of the changes that are occurring. I used to get jittery legs. I called it "electric legs" 😃 Maybe your tingling feet is a manifestation of em being woken up 😃

Oh the times they are a changin 😃😗

Thank you I will slacken my laces. I think they probably are in shock!!!! They are not used to it. I will push through it! Thank you for your advice.

You could try lacing your shoes differently as well as loosening them:

Too-tight laces are a common cause of numbness/pins and needles/painful shins.
