Morning, I was thinking yesterday to switch from podcast to C25K app, but there are several of them. Which one you are using? Do you know of they differ in programme? Do you know if you can jump forward (e.g. start from week 6) and / or repeat runs in the app you're using?
I think now, where I have less breaks, I'd prefer to run to my own music, but still have some encouragements and be told when to walk and when to run O hate watching my phone or watch.
Cheers

I use the couch25kapp from nhs. It is part of the 'one you' scheme which can be downloaded. I think it is on the nhs website. It has celebrities keeping you going which is quite nice. I use Sarah Millican and she is really good!
I also used the NHS app. However, if you want to listen to your own music, I had the app on my phone with one earphone and my iPod with another earphone (lots of annoying wiring!) as the app would occasionally freeze when running the two together on my iPhone. Once I got to 20 minutes running, I just used my iPod and a timer...
Hi there - I used the app and found it simple and flexible. It only really failed when I lost signal. (I currently use the podcasts and Laura. Doesn't depend on signal but you're stuck w the inbuilt soundtrack and you can't tick the races you've done.) With the app your choice of music or radio fades during instructions. I used Sarah Millican but there's a choice. This might be a useful page. bbc.co.uk/programmes/articl...
I use the BBC one you app, i find it really good. You can choose from 4 celebrities to encourage you and listen to your own music, I think you start the program at which ever week your at 😊
Hello, I use the C25k app that is 'supported by BBC get inspired'. I don't know if the programme differs from the podcast, but you can jump forward weeks (it's not 'locked') and repeat runs where you want to. If you listen to music at the same time the app is running, it just drops the volume of your music a little when the training is talking to you which is a nice feature. There is also a timer on the screen as you walk/run, but I use an arm band so I can't see anyway! Hope this helps.
How about just using the prospect of your own music as a carrot to get you to graduation? Those later weeks can throw some googlies... and if you ditch the podcasts now you don't get to meet Julie and frankly that would be a pity.
You intrigued me. I noticed that I stopped listening to the music (I think my brain think it's background noise), thus I realise too latr that Laura is saying something which is a pitty
I used a C25K app from Active Networks on the App Store. Exact same training plan as NHS. You can jump ahead to runs if you want, or go back. I preferred it as the music on the podcasts was awful. With this app you can run to your own music, Spotify or listen to the radio. Most importantly it's the exact same plan, and it will prompt you to run or walk and offer encouragement.
