I love it when new members say they are thinking or should I do it or not. I tell you what it's been the best decision I've ever made. In February 2018 I weighed in at 19.5 stone. My first challenge was to see if I could do steps at work Instead of taking the lift. It took about 2 months to complete 62 steps going up and down them twice in my shift. Then I needed another challenge my sister in law mentioned the app C25k. So by April 2018 about 2 stone lighter at 17 stone. I decided to give it a go even though I suffered high blood pressure and asthma. I took my son's with me incase I'd have a heart attack or something. My youngest son of 18 joined me for the first time. Oh my God was my thoughts I can't do this half way through the app. It was my son that said come on mom you can do this. Well that was the word's that kept me going. Yes I competed the C25k as I graduated in the July 2018. By myself by then but please buy the proper running shoes maybe a running bottle for water. As I'm a keen runner/Jogger I've brought stuff for the winter and summer and raining day's. I suffered a minor set back in October with a knee injury and other issues. Doctor and phyiso have given me the go ahead to start again. So I'm starting the app again to get me fitter for my upcoming operation. Then after recovery I'll start the app again. This time next year I might be doing a 10k the possibilities are endless when you've completed the app. I did my first ever muddy run for cancer research. Wanted to put what I've learned from the app to doing something good. Yes you can do it I know longer suffer high blood pressure came off tablets last October 2018. That I was taking for 16 years. My lungs feel better haven't had a bad dose of a asthma attack since November 2017. So all around a win win yes I'm 12stone now toning up nicely through the app. Parkruns are being done now. So if you was like me yes and noing. Do it, will change your life forever... Yes you will get them demons in your head saying you can't do it. But prove them wrong you can do it and will do it... Many thanks to all out there giving me your hints and tips and reading this far. Good luck to you all x
