I’ve managed to carry on running since completing the c25k but was wondering if anyone had found any good apps to help them bridge the gap to 10K? I’m keen to start bridging the gap after my holiday next week and I’m currently using the zombies run app which I will use in between training for the 10K (if any of this makes sense - a teething 2 year old and a 5am run have done nothing for my brain obviously haha) 😊

Congratulations on graduating from C25k. Well done also for continuing to run afterwards. I just picked 1 of my 3 x 5K runs per week and added 500 meters onto one of those runs each week. I didn’t bother with an app.
My partner who completed the C25K said he just added on 500m progressively to his runs to get to 10K. I don’t think you need much more training until moving to more than this.
Tale a peek at the What Next post for ideas... Magic 10 on Bridge to 10K is a great plan which many, many of us have used! Takes you to 10K safely and with the added extras of supplementary res day exercise... essential to improve the core strength and stamina for longer runs.. although with a two year old, you will have plenty of stamina already
Just running is not enough to move us on.. we need everything that goes with it
It is a plan not an app... there are plans out there.. Sami Murphy is one many use and there is one with Bluefin( but I found it annoying)..
Here is the link to Magic 10.. a new round will be starting soon. This explains what it is about... head across to Bridge to 10K forum.. a new round of Magic 10 is due to begin..
