Today I done my first run which I found hard the brisk walk was ok but I couldn't sustain 60 sec running managed about 40 sec so I'm going to have to work at that maybe it might take me longe to achieve my goal but I'm not giving up

Run slow, steady and at your own pace - less than 10% of us in a recent surveys graduated "on time/with distance'

If you don't complete a session, just repeat it, after a rest day, until you can.

You've done the hardest bit and that was getting out there in the 1st place so well done you and now just stick at it and let us all know how you're getting on with it
Brilliantly done, you kicked the couch and got out. The first one is always the hardest and gives you a good benchmark on your stamina levels. I love the fact you're not giving up, that says a lot about your focus and personality.
This plan is a building programme, every second and metre you ran and walked today is in your future running stamina and km bank. So this will help you next time out. Happy running and enjoy your rest day.

Well done. My W1D1 (yest!) my boyf was way ahead of me - I just kept going. I intend to keep going as you will. You can do it - I had some lovely comments on this forum which really helped me do the stretch and flex today
