Just finished my first C25k Run! (W1R1)

I stumbled upon the C25k program as a podcast, read up on it, and decided to give it a go! I’m a Uni student who definitely needs to get up and exercising. I would take a walk around the lake nearby occasionally (coincidently the site of a weekly parkrun) but I found myself wanting to push myself further. Jogging for 60 sec was tougher than I thought it would be, but I got through all the rounds! Let’s see where this takes me!

Well done on starting. It is by far the hardest part. Just keep going, don’t worry about speed and you will soon be amazed that you found 60 seconds hard.

Thank you! I can’t wait until it starts feeling easier, bc right now I feel entirely drained

Yep we all been there but I can now run 28 mins and feel slightly less drained than on the first run so so will you in the end.

Well done on Wk1 R1! and I know that feeling when you think 'oh my god is this 60 seconds!'.

Ive just completed Wk1R3 and I'm not sure I can go to the next level yet but I will give it a try. I am new on here also but have found everyone's comments and support truly inspiring and it helped my overcome things this morning knowing I can share on here and feel great.

Keep going and I'm sure you will do fab!

The podcasts are fab. Run walk run is a brilliant way of getting fitter. These podcasts have helped thousands of folks get fit

Some here, me included, have got to marathon level using it, having never run before.

You only need to go very slowly and there’s no need to push or hurry.

Have fun! 🙂👍🏃‍♀️✔️

Marathon level, that’s incredible! I do love the convenience of podcasts, you can download them before you leave the house no worries
