Thank you to those of you that gave me the heads up about this run. I did this in my lunch break earlier as I had to get out and...yep you guessed it...run!
I prepared myself for the return of the runs and walks in between and then just went with it.
My legs returned to their scrambled leg state but...I did it.
Each milestone is definitely a milestone which prepares you for the next.
I have been logging my achievements as well to remind myself how far I have come as I do still find the act of running (or jogging slowly) hard (for me) but the positive I have learnt is I no longer care what I look like and I am focused on getting to that 30 minutes running non stop

Hi Scrambled_Legs well done for completing W6R1. I did mine this morning at the gym. I completed my last run 5 days ago, so I donβt think my legs remembered the 20 minute runπIβm just getting over a cough and cold, not Covid, so I wasnβt expecting too much but it worked out ok. I sweat so much when running, no way could I run in my lunch break. Good luck for your next runπ
Thank you and well done to you too π Gosh and with not feeling tip top too well done!
I find I sweat when I am back indoors, the minute I stop π
I did have a call post my run with work and I thought I would be ok but cameras were on π Fortunately there was a gap for me to be able to sort myself out before hand.
Congratulations on completing run 1 of week 6, well done, only one more run with interval walks and runs, after that it's non stop running starting with run 3 of week 6, onwards and upwards ππΎ π
I reckon I could have started off a little faster as there was a new found confidence which may be where it can go wrong. I did tell myself to sloooooow it down (and I do jog quite slowly as it is).
I can certainly feel my run from earlier right now π ... so a rest day tomorrow for me
