Well after a 9 day break again (not by choice) I got up this morning and decided that sinus pain or not, heavy head or not, endless blowing of nasty stuff or not, that Donna is going running and I'm glad I did.
Funny how you actually miss the sweating, huffing and puffing, odd swear word, but more importantly the feeling of "I did that" when you complete another run.
Thankfully my foot gave me no problems at all. My face wasn't a pretty site when I finished running but nothing some tissue couldn't sort out.
So it's onwards and upwards on Saturday to week 6 run 2. I'm hoping that my sinuses would be on the mend by then too.
Great stuff Donna! Running with a cold is horrible and sinus pain is the WORST 😣 I did Run 2 of Week 6 tonight, it was tough, but it's another one closer to the big graduation run 😀🏃❤
Thank you Snodi. It wasn't pleasant but then again it was better than I thought it would be. Lots of tissues at the ready.
Week 6 Run 2 huh. I was just looking at that. Even though we've proved we can do 20 mins non stop, I still have the upmost respect for every run and 10 minutes X2 is a challenge all the same. Well done on completing that run. My turn to conquer it on Saturday.
And yes we'll soon be counting down to that last run and our graduation!
Thank you. I haven't enjoyed something so greatly in a long time and so not being able to run now seems more stressful than actually getting out there.
I know what you mean! I know you've also had a couple of set backs along the way too - I really admire your determination to succeed, it's been lovely to follow your progress. Can't wait to see you graduate!
Brilliant for getting out despite your sinus trouble. More stressful not being able to run than the actual runs??? It sounds like you're becoming addicted. 👍🏽😀
