First 5K in the books!!!

I just graduated on Thursday and ran my first 5K this morning! I finished 3rd in my age group and am very proud of myself! My beautiful wife and 4.5 year old son were there to root me on! My best buddy and his wife and his brother ran with me(or ahead of me) and we had a great time!

It really is! I have accomplished in sports as a young man but being 42 and being terribly out of shape just 15 weeks ago is amazing! I am pumped and looking forward to pushing forward to other goals.
